With over 20 years of repping high profile listings and over $5.2 billion in sales to date, Raphael De Niro and his team have made their next big move this week with the official announcement of their union with Brown Harris Stevens’ (BHS) NYC office.
De Niro began his career at Douglas Elliman, forming his eponymous eight person team in 2004. During this time, the team has averaged $250 million in sales every year and repped celebrity clients such as Kelly Ripa and Renée Zellweger.
“After more than twenty years with the same firm, I felt it was time to take my business in a new and different direction. I will always be grateful for the foundation Douglas Elliman has given me,” De Niro said in a statement. “Their unwavering support helped me and my team achieve outstanding outcomes for our clients and customers. I look forward to building upon this success in my next chapter at Brown Harris Stevens.”

Notable endeavors
With an extensive portfolio under their belt, the De Niro team has substantial experience with both luxury resale work and new-development consulting. Most notably, they have been at the helm of successes such as 108 Leonard, 111 Murray, 150 Charles, The Puck Penthouses and 27 Wooster.
De Niro has also gained notoriety as Founding Board Member of the New York Residential Agent Continuum (NYRAC). NYRAC aims to provide top NYC-based residential brokers with resources geared toward consumer-first practices and upholding ethical industry standards.
