As a lifelong Tampa resident, I can’t say that I didn’t feel a tinge of jealousy upon seeing just how iconic the launch event was for Roche Bobois’ St. Pete Tower this past weekend.
Inside the exclusive event
Hosted by the real estate mogul and extraordinaire, Ryan Serhant and WWE legend (and Tampa native) Titus O’Neill, the event took place at the Marriott Water Street, where the exclusive Roche Bobois-designed penthouses officially debuted. Special guests such as Florida’s own lieutenant governor were also in attendance, along with a performance by the Grammy Award winning, Ricky Martin.
Inside, the event brought Roche Bobois’ signature style to a celebration of the new development, covering the space in pink, pink and more pink. Specifically, a seemingly delectable assortment of pink desserts, floral arrangements, and model of the tower’s exterior. Both Serhant and O’Neill even opted for blush pink suits, setting the tone for a night that appeared to be an homage to Tampa’s vibrant, thriving culture and real estate landscape.
The private event was invite-only, meaning here at Brokerverse, we cannot report on what Ricky Martin songs were sung – however we hope “Living La Vida Loca” was included in the setlist. However, the development at the center of the celebration, Roche Bobois’ St Pete Tower, has proven to be a major move in Tampa-St Petersburg’s rapidly evolving luxury real estate sector.
Meet St. Pete’s newest luxury residential tower
Located at 344 4th Street South, the 29-story tower is set to include 164 luxury residences with 24,000 square feet of amenities and panoramic waterfront views. With completion expected in 2028, the development will be home to everything from New York-style studio lofts to three-bedroom homes and penthouses with private terraces, according to the official SERHANT. listing.
The tower will include amenities such as a rooftop lounge, fitness and wellness center, 24-hour concierge with valet service, and 103 parking spaces. Gomez Vazquez International will be at the helm of designing the building exterior, with Roche Debois’ custom style decorating all of the tower’s interior spaces.
Partnering with the luxury investment titan, Valor Real Estate Development, Roche Debois’ St. Pete Tower will mark the brand’s first American-based development project. Valor recently announced the record breaking sale of the first penthouse for $13.2 million.
Serhant, whose eponymous firm repped the property, celebrated the sale in a recent Instagram reel with the song, “Pink” by Lizzo. The tower is set to replace several vacant buildings on the corner of Fourth Street South and Fourth Avenue South, which were recently painted bright pink amid Valor and Roche Bobois’ ongoing marketing campaign.
“We are raising the bar in Tampa Bay. From the architecture to the inclusion of art, every detail is being designed to create a one-of-a-kind living experience,” Moises Agami, CEO of Valor Real Estate Development, said of the project.
