Zillow has launched an upgraded version of their platform, Z, Zillow Pro, designed to help agents connect more effectively with their clients. The service aims to provide real-time updates on what clients are searching for, viewing and demonstrating interest in, while integrating artificial intelligence to deliver more efficient search data and improved outcomes.
Zillow Pro will begin its initial market launches in early 2026, with a goal of nationwide availability by mid-year. An early-access interest list for agents is set to open at Zillow’s Unlock conference in November 2025.
One platform, complete visibility
Announced on October 15., Zillow Pro will combine the tools from Follow Up Boss, My Agent and Agent Profiles into one AI generated tool that will help connect agents with consumers. Zillow noted during the announcement that agents often lose visibility when clients resume home searches independently, leaving them unaware of renewed buyer activity. This disconnect can hinder communication and limit the agent’s ability to offer timely, informed guidance.
In the Zillow Media Room, Chief Operating Officer Jun Choo said, “Zillow is laser-focused on helping real estate agents succeed, and with Zillow Pro, we’re deepening that commitment…we’re building game-changing technology that enhances the essential relationship between agents and their clients — giving professionals the insights, tools and visibility they need to grow their business in today’s market.”
New partnerships?
With Zillow utilizing AI technology, namely Loft47, to assist agents in tracking their clients interests, it reduces agent workload, creating more time to better support clients. “Partnering with Rechat brings the industry a unified solution that connects top-tier agent tools with the most powerful commission and compliance automation on the market,” Hryciuk told Real Estate News. “Broker owners can finally operate with total visibility, from contract to close to payout, while their agents stay focused on production.”
Zillow is also teaming up with Follow Up Boss, a company that automates follow-ups for agents to reach out to clients. After the program launches, Zillow Pro agents will have free access to Zillow Preferred, previously referred to asFlex. The feature gives top-performing agents access to a curated stream of high-intent, pre-qualified leads from Zillow.
Zillow is incorporating technology from Restb.ai, which will comb through the information on a property listing to ensure that all of the correct information is present. The tech utilizes the MLS to gather information from other listings to make sure that the current listing isn’t missing anything. “Many real estate agents do a great job of carefully checking off home features when creating a listing, but some fields can be missed, and unfortunately, other agents are not as thorough. AI technology delivers more complete data,” Doorify CEO, Matt Fowler, said to Real Estate News.
While Zillow Pro is set to launch next year, early access will be available to those who attend the Unlock conference in Las Vegas November 3-5, 2025. Zillow is hopping to the front of the real-estate search engine train with its new advances. Agent-client relationships are able to be stronger than ever before.
