In a significant leadership transition for Pennsylvania’s real estate industry, veteran Philadelphia broker Bill Lublin has been installed as the 2025 president of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® (PAR). Lublin, who brings over four decades of experience in brokerage, education, and industry leadership, was sworn in as the 102nd president during a ceremony that marked a renewed focus on innovation, collaboration, and professionalism within the commonwealth’s real estate sector.
A Lifelong Commitment to Real Estate Excellence
Lublin is the CEO of Century 21 Advantage Gold, the largest Century 21 firm in Pennsylvania, and the owner of Lublin Corporation Realtors®. With a reputation for blending traditional brokerage with forward-thinking digital strategy, Lublin has long been an advocate for agent education, ethical standards, and the evolution of real estate technology.
He previously served as president of the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors® and has been a long-standing member of PAR’s Board of Directors. Nationally, Lublin has contributed to the REALTOR® Political Action Committee and the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) Professional Standards Committee. In 2015, PAR recognized him with its Lifetime Achievement Award, a testament to his sustained contributions to the industry.
In his inaugural remarks, Lublin emphasized the importance of unity across the real estate ecosystem: “The local, the state, and the national aren’t separate entities; they are interconnected parts of a powerful whole. Our strength lies in our unity, and we must leverage that to serve our clients and communities better.”
Leading Amid a Dynamic Market
Lublin takes the helm at a pivotal time. The Pennsylvania housing market has shown strong momentum in early 2025, with March home sales jumping 21% month-over-month, reaching 8,230 transactions statewide. The median sales price also climbed 2% to $285,000, reflecting rising buyer confidence amid stabilizing interest rates and seasonal demand.
“We traditionally see the real estate market reflect renewed energy in the spring,” Lublin said. “Many home sellers tend to list their properties in the spring when the weather is warm and the blooming landscapes show their homes in the best light. Motivated homebuyers often want to make a move in the spring or summer, which allows them to settle in their new homes before the next school year or other life events.”
These market dynamics present both opportunities and challenges, especially as affordability pressures, inventory shortages, and regulatory shifts continue to reshape the landscape. Lublin is expected to bring both steadiness and strategic foresight to guide Pennsylvania agents through these transitions.
A Voice for Ethics, Education, and Modernization
Beyond market trends, Lublin’s leadership is likely to center on professional development and innovation. He has long championed the use of technology and social media to empower agents, founding the Social Media Marketing Institute to provide training on digital engagement strategies. He is also a licensed real estate educator and a frequent speaker at conferences nationwide.
Lublin’s dedication to professional standards is well-documented. He previously chaired PAR’s Professional Standards Committee and has been active in mediation and ethics training. This emphasis on accountability and competence is expected to resonate throughout his presidency.
“Bill brings the perfect combination of experience, strategic vision, and passion for the Realtor community,” said PAR CEO Alex Charlton in a recent statement. “We look forward to the positive momentum his leadership will bring.”
A New Chapter of Leadership
Lublin was installed alongside a full slate of 2025 officers, including President-Elect David Dean, First Vice President Eric Rehling, and Treasurer Heather Petrone-Shook. Additionally, regional vice presidents from across the state were sworn in to represent their local associations and support PAR’s statewide initiatives.
As PAR’s new president, Lublin is expected to prioritize collaboration between local boards, legislative advocacy, and the ongoing professionalization of the real estate workforce. In a time of shifting consumer expectations and increased competition, his presidency signals a push to modernize while remaining grounded in Realtor® values.
With his deep roots in Pennsylvania real estate and a forward-looking approach, Lublin is poised to lead the association through another transformative year.
