Singer, songwriter, actor and more, Joe Jonas, has listed his former L.A. mansion for $4 million. The home sits in Sunset Square, a historic neighborhood in Hollywood known for its early 20th century architecture.
Styled by renowned L.A. architect Paul Williams who ensured both intimacy and luxury, the four bedroom, six bathroom mansion spans across the main and guest houses. Featured amply throughout the years in Architectural Digest, the home is the face of classic elegance.
Jonas’ quick real estate turn-around
Jonas purchased the home in May 2014 for $2.9 million from the former Sony Pictures Television executive Sheraton Kalouria and resided there for only a year-and-a-half . It was originally built in the 1930s then revamped by the current owner, according to Robb Report.
After this, it was sold to interior designer Erin Featherstone and American rock musician Gabe Saporta in December 2015. The couple had owned the home for seven years before it was sold to Martha Gulati, a well-known cardiologist. As of September 2025, it is for sale.
Inside the luxurious home
The home was first listed in September for $4.5 million, then lowered in November to just under $4 million, according to the listing.
Upon first entry, the foyer boasts coved ceilings, bay windows and french doors. The cream white walls showcase a modern farmhouse and Mediterranean style. Crown molding exudes elegance and large windows in every room that bring in natural light.
Moving further into the tastefully simplistic home, the dining room has a built-in hutch that creates a formal feel. It also hosts a door that creates a direct pathway to the chef’s kitchen, which furthers the farmhouse feel with white backsplash and a rustic, gray island.
In the listing, the home was described as having a Paul Williams-style, meaning that there was a healthy mix between intimacy and luxury. Williams was a L.A. based architect who ensured there was fine woodwork, clear symmetry and high quality material.
These details are seen throughout Jonas’ former home, with symmetry in meticulously designed doorframes, such as those in the dining room and entry way. In addition, the home bleeds intimacy with its smaller scale dining room and ample seating for guests, while boasting almost 4,000 square feet.
What future homeowners can expect
This luxurious mansion would be the perfect home for someone who loves to host, enjoys classic architecture and functional elegance. Beverly Hills Estates’ listing has been up for two months with the price constantly fluctuating.
