Miami and Palm Beach’s luxurious housing market is being overshadowed as billionaires seek out an expansive , secluded sanctuary near Delray Beach. The private neighborhood recently welcomed new high profile homeowners: acclaimed actor Mark Wahlberg and Rockstar energy drink founder Russ Weiner.
Stone Creek Ranch differs from cities like Miami, Manalapan, and Palm Beach as it offers complete privacy, along with a team of armed professionals with previous employment in law enforcement or the military surveying the community 24/7.
Homebuyers seeking to purchase one of just 37 private residences within Stone Creek are required to go through rigorous criminal background checks.
Stone Creek Ranch’s isolated properties
Wahlberg purchased a $37 million megamansion inside the exclusive enclave and Weiner is in contract negotiations on two properties in the community worth $43 million.
According to real estate agent Senada Adzem of Douglas Elliman, that level of security and privacy is far more “valuable” than any beach or boat dock could ever be
A significant rise in wealthy clients of Adzem’s are prioritizing privacy from the public eye over easy accessibility to the beach.
Adzem revealed,”They just want to have their peace. And that makes so much sense. [Privacy] is valuable to them. They’d rather have all this privacy where no one is looking at them, they can run around with their kids, they can wear whatever. That’s what’s really valuable.”
The properties in Stone Creek are located around a man-made lake. The homes overlook the private lake, and there is extensive acreage between each property offering privacy from the neighbors. The community is a desirable residency for families because of its convenience to five of the top private schools in Palm Beach County.
The luxurious properties include numerous amenities highlighting the extravagance of the homes.
High profile residents
Wahlberg’s new property, for example, spans 18,206 square feet and boasts seven bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms, two powder rooms, a home theater, cigar lounge, wine cellar, gym, sauna, guesthouse, and resort-style pool.
Wahlberg’s mansion, Palazzo di Lago, was designed by Aldo Stark. Stark was influenced by Italian architecture for the construction of the mansion. Elaborate touches such as crystal chandeliers suggest Stark’s strive for luxury living. The hidden cigar lounge also features an advanced air-purification system.
Villa Ananda is located across the lake and is under offer by Weiner. The mansion spans 11,500 square feet on a 2.5-acre waterfront plot, with 660 feet of private water frontage.
The home features extravagant amenities such as an enormous primary suite, a pool, and a 150-inch projection located in the club room.
Homes continue to see rising value
The value of homes in Stone Creek is indicative of impressive ROI potential. As first reported by CNBC, the actor’s new mansion underwent a 118% price increase between January 2020, when it sold for $17 million, and October 2025, when Wahlberg paid $37 million for the dwelling.
Wahlberg’s rising home value suggests neighboring homes will likely see rising values within the rest of the community.
Previously, wealthy clientele were not convinced by Stone Creek Ranch and were searching for properties overlooking the ocean or with beach access. Clients are now requesting properties within the community rather than needing to be pitched to. In the past five years, 17 properties have been sold.
“Delray is a new hot spot with a really cool vibe: You have fabulous restaurants, you have the art scene. I almost compare it to Soho in New York, it’s a very vibrant, young scene,” Adzem added.
