A Westchester, New York mega-mansion has smashed the local real estate record with a $30 million price tag. Dubbed “Arrow Hill,” the 41-acre estate sits just 30 minutes from Manhattan and pairs family-home charm with resort-style amenities.
Arrow Hill’s extensive scale
Originally built in 1927 for one of the founding families of New York, the 14,000-square-foot main house is tucked behind a gated driveway, where manicured trees and shrubs provide a private approach for its new owners. Inside, the home offers eight bedrooms, nine full baths, and three half-baths. Expansive reception rooms, a library, wood-paneled den, modern kitchen with dual islands and family room that opens directly to the pool, rounding out the living spaces.

There are two guest houses on the property, along with a two-bedroom pool house and hangar for a private plane (though now it could be used as a multi-car garage or entertaining space.) The grounds themself are home to several gardens, tennis and racquetball courts, reflecting pools, streams, and a koi pond, in addition to the swimming pool nearest to the main home. There’s even a mysterious brick building on the property nicknamed “the catacombs,” for brave adventurers to explore, given they can afford it.
The space offers an opportunity to both entertain and get away, vacationing in your backyard has never been easier.

Renovations and restorations
The Westchester property was previously sold in 1992 for $4 million (about $9.2 million today, adjusted for inflation). In the last thirty years, the current residents have renovated and restored meticulously, leaving no part of the property untouched.
Its history is commensurate with that found in classic Americana literature — the entertaining space would’ve been ideal for Jay Gatsby’s parties, and its 1920s construction places it squarely in the periods most rambunctious years. The property even has its own rival across the water: posted on September 11th, 2025, Revlon’s former CEO’s estate was listed for $18.9 million, the previous record-holder for most expensive single-family home in the area.
Arrow Hill’s thoughtful and diligent renovation raised its value thanks to their attention to detail on the original bones of the house. They maintained as much of the original hardwood and molding during the two renovation/restorations, one in the 90s and another more recently, instead of redesigning the property on the bones of an historical residence, like other homes nearby.

The scope and scale of Arrow Hill warrants its price. The listing boasts the property as “a true work of art,” and an idealistic “blend of grand suburban compound living, right within the midst of incomparable city life of iconic Manhattan.” An unobstructed view of the Manhattan skyline exemplifies the ambitious history within the property, whether in books or reality — what new stories could unfold under a new resident?
